Why plant trees in developing world countries instead of the Amazon?

How funding applications are evaluated

We are currently supporting tree planting projects in 17 countries across the globe. They received funding because the applications from the charities and NGOs involved have met our environmental, social and economic criteria in each case.

Although we do not currently plant in the Amazon, we would consider any application on behalf of a community in Brazil like any other – on its merits, regardless of the country.
